Paraglide Advance Course

INR 80,000 | 7 DAYS

30 days of P4 course with training, gear, accommodation & airport pickup from Dharamshala airport.

Learn to fly in the world's 2nd highest paragliding site.

ITINERARY

Day 1- Reach Dharamshala, drive to Bir & settle in. Meet your instructor for your first lesson. Learn parts of the glider, how to wear harness and learn glider control on the ground.

Day 2-3- Head to landing site again. Practice glider control and take off techniques on the ground. Learn about winds and weather science.

Day 4- Perfect the take-off technique. Undergo briefing for your first solo flight.

Day 5- It's time for your first solo flight. Drive to Billing (take-off site), understand radio handling and get ready to fly. Complete 2 solo flights with radio assistance on take-off and landing.

Day 6-7- Time for some more flying. Complete 1-2 solo flights everyday (based on weather conditions).

Day 8- Pack bags and bid goodbye to Bir. Drive to Dharamshala airport with some great memories, flying videos that will make anyone jealous and most important, a new hobby that you can build for life :)

PARAGLIDE TIMING-

A typical day of paragliding is from 11am-5pm for first 4 days and 7am-11am for flying days. You can buy lunch around the landing site. Note- Timing is highly volatile and subject to local wind condition.

EVENINGS-

Post paragliding, get back to the hotel, refresh and spend the evening walking around the Tibetan colony of Bir. Enjoy a meal of momos and thukpa, explore monasteries, or simply hang around. There are plenty of cafes serving great food and some with live music too :)

THINGS TO KNOW

Price details

1. Price mentioned is per person. If you are travelling solo, you can opt for a personal room at an extra cost. Let us know, we will customise the price for you.

2. Accommodation included is on twin sharing basis in a standard hotel. Basic facilities like running hot water will be provided.

Cancellation/ Rescheduling Policy

We offer a full refund in case of govt imposed restrictions. If you cancel due to personal reasons, then we charge as follows-
If cancelled 4 weeks before, then there will be charge of 1500 pp
If cancelled 2 weeks before, then there will be charge of 3000 pp
If cancelled within 2 weeks, then 5000 pp
Balance can be either refunded or transferred to another batch, as per your preference.
