Day 1 - Reach Colombo airport, drive to Unawatuna & settle in. Complete course registration, e-learning review & equipment sizing. Explore the town and retire early to be ready for your first session tomorrow.

Day 2- Head to the dive school & learn how to set up your gear. Get an orientation to underwater skills & practice them in the safe environment of a swimming pool.

Day 3- It's time to head out on a dive boat for your first 2 ocean dives. You will be diving to a depth of 12 metres & practice previously learned skills. Unawatuna has some great dive sites to offer. You may visit reefs, shipwrecks or underwater rock structures, depending on local conditions.

Day 4- Today is the last day of your course. Attempt 2 more ocean dives, this time to a depth of 18 metres. Display previously learned skills & complete all course requirement. Your last dive will be a recreational dive where you will simply enjoy exploring the underwater world. Take your final certification exam and celebrate becoming an open water diver!

Day 5- Check out & explore more of Sri Lanka or drive to Colombo airport with some great memories and your newly acquired PADI open water license :)

       DIVE TIMING-

Your dive training will be for 3-5 hours every morning, usually from 9 am-1 pm. Exact timing will depend on local conditions and will be informed to you the previous day.

      EVENINGS-

Post diving, get back to the hotel, shower and spend the day at leisure. Explore the local shops, visit the nearby UNESCO heritage site Galle Fort, scooty around the coastline or simply hang around and soak in the chilled out vibe of Unawatuna. There are plenty of cafes serving great food and some with live music too :)
